The story of our dental clinic in Vesterbro
Kgs. Enghave was originally laid out as pasture and used as feed for the royal stables. As late as the late 1950s, there were stables with dozens of horses in the backyards of our current property at Enghave Plads 6 in Vesterbro.
The property of our clinic dates back to 1899 and first became a dental clinic in 1927. This is when dentist Martensen bought the property, which he owned from 1927-1967. Martensen also employed dentist Poul Larsen, who served his military service as a military dentist before joining the clinic.
But dentist Larsen also had a dream of starting his own - and therefore stopped in 1964, 3 years before Martensen sold the property to Leo Strarup, who took over the clinic from 1967-2006.
Dentist and current clinic owner Zohair Azzouzi took over the clinic in November 2006 after holding a research and teaching position at the dental school in Copenhagen.
When we took over, there were 3 treatment rooms and 1 shared X-ray room. The clinic has since grown and underwent its first major renovation in 2007, when there was a need to update to modern treatment methods.
In 2009, we were one of the first clinics in Denmark to get a CBCT X-ray scanner, which allowed for better and safer treatment of patients. Due to a large influx of patients, the clinic was expanded once again in 2012 with 2 treatment rooms.
Today, the clinic is large and can accommodate many patients. We are a team of 21, including dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants and administration.

At our clinic in Glostrup, we have 9 treatment rooms and 6 dentists on staff.
The clinic is located in Glostrup on Hovedvejen 150. You can park right next to Netto, where there is 2 hours free parking
The clinic's manager and co-owner, Zohair Azzouzi, is a dentist and also has skilled and dedicated specialist dentists and dental assistants.
